Ingredients
2 kg boneless lamb meat cut in small chunks
15 mushrooms cut in 2 pieces each
10 green peppers (frigitelli) cut in 3 pieces each
15 small shallots (scalogno) cut into 2 pieces each
30 cherry tomatoes
2 medium size eggplants cut into cubes (almost 30 cubes)
30 wooden skewers (spiedini)
Salt
Seasoning:
2 big spoons of yogurt
1 big spoon of Turkish pepper paste
2 glasses of olive oil
2 cloves of smashed garlic
1 small spoon of cumin
1 small spoon of black pepper
Preparation
Mix all seasoning ingredients until the mixture gets totally homogeneous. Leave lamb pieces in this seasoning at least for 15 minutes. Prepare skewers with a vegetable meat mix and sprinkle salt on top of them at last minute when you put them on barbecue. Each side cooks for about 4-5 minutes.
